For the last few weeks, Whetu has been working on an inquiry to do with zoos. Our question was " Should Animals be kept in zoos?" To present my findings I made a poster with lots of little animals on it. My opinion on animals being kept in zoos is yes they should. The reason behind my opinion was because if they are in zoos they have breeding programmes for animals becoming extinct and they also have proper medical care for animals and other things like that. I am so happy with how my inquiry came out and I can't wait to see if we do another one.
It was an interesting topic for inquiry - I wasn't sure what to think at the start but I think we found some really interesting points to support having animals in zoos.
